Course Description: a meld of art history and techniques, this class is perfect for high school students who want to improve their painting and drawing skills as well as understand the contextual significance of art movements in history. This class is great to put on a resume as well as helpful towards building a portfolio.
Supplies: acrylic paints and canvases will be provided. However, students are welcome to bring in there own supplies i.e. watercolors, charcoal etc.
Instructor: Ashly Mcloney is a West Seattle local and figurative oil painter. She attended the Vitruvian Fine Arts Studio atelier in Chicago where she was trained in classical painting techniques. She has been teaching students of all levels and ages for three years as well as painting commissions and showing her work.
Fee: 30$ per class
