West Seattle Art Nest

Here at West Seattle Art Nest, we believe that every child is an artist. We offer a creative space, designed to inspire, motivate, and encourage young artists. Our hope is that each child finds their own unique style, and is able to express themselves through their art.

The Sunday Studio: Open Studio Gathering

August 26, 2026 10:30am-12:30pm

Join us for a relaxed morning of creativity, connection, and open studio exploration.

The Sunday Studio is more than an art class—it’s a creative gathering. A chance to slow down, step away from the demands of everyday life, and spend a few hours creating in the company of others.

We’ll begin with a few optional guided prompts to spark inspiration before opening the studio for exploration. Paint, collage, watercolor, sculpture, mixed media, sensory materials, and a rotating collection of creative invitations will be available throughout the morning.

No experience is necessary. Whether you’re a practicing artist, haven’t created in years, or simply need a creative reset, you’re welcome here.

This is a process-based experience designed to encourage curiosity, experimentation, and play. Some guests may spend the morning immersed in a single project, while others may wander between materials and stations, following what inspires them. There is no right way to participate.

The studio will be stocked with a wide variety of materials, tools, and creative possibilities. I’ll be available throughout the session to offer guidance, encouragement, and support whenever needed, while still allowing plenty of room for independent exploration.

Think of this less as a workshop and more as a creative refuge—a space to gather, connect, recharge, and remember the joy of making things with your hands.
