Martin Luther King Jr 1 Day Camp 1/19/26 9:30am-12:30pm
Martin Luther King Jr. Day Art Camp at Lincoln Park
Join us for a special 1-day, 3-hour camp honoring the life, work, and activism of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through creative expression and thoughtful reflection. Young artists will explore meaningful themes of community, equality, justice, and hope while working with a variety of mediums and techniques.
This outdoor camp takes place at Lincoln Park, with some project stations set up under covered shelters and others out in the surrounding forest and shoreline areas. I will provide battery-powered hand warmers to help keep everyone comfortable as we create and explore.
Please dress your child in warm, weather-appropriate, art-friendly layers — including wool socks, boots, a base layer, hat, and rain gear if needed — and send them with a water bottle and a snack or lunch.
Open to school-aged children.
Location: Lincoln Park — South parking lot (near the ferry terminal entrance), Seattle, WA
